The STAUFF Group, headquartered in Werdohl, Germany, operates additional subsidiaries with around 45 locations in 18 countries. More than 1500 employees worldwide, 650 of them in Germany.
The companies of the STAUFF Group develop, produce and sell line components as well as system and tank components for mechanical and plant engineering and industrial maintenance. Typical areas of application include mobile and stationary hydraulics, commercial and special vehicle construction as well as transport and energy technology. STAUFF products and solutions are also used in the marine, oil and gas industries as well as in process, food and chemical engineering. The product programme currently includes around 50,000 standard components in ten product groups as well as a large number of special and system solutions, which are implemented according to customer specifications or based on in-house developments.
All STAUFF products undergo extensive testing in accordance with current standards and guidelines. Many items also have certificates, approvals and authorisations from international institutes, institutions and agencies, which independently certify their quality and performance.
The high-quality products offer outstanding advantages in many areas, which increase efficiency and process reliability in daily use and reduce possible assembly errors.
The majority of development and production takes place in Germany, guaranteeing high availability and consistent quality for the European market.
We at Paul Forrer AG have therefore supplemented and further expanded our line technology range with tube fittings and quick-release couplings from STAUFF.
Zinc-nickel coating as standard
Zinc-nickel coated surfaces are standard at Stauff and thus provide special protection for the products. But Zn-Ni is not just Zn-Ni! The coated surface impresses with additional unique features:
No smearing
Conventional zinc-nickel coatings require the cones and threads to be lubricated beforehand in order to minimise friction coefficients. If the cones and threads are not lubricated, the angle of rotation can be distorted by up to 40° with the same amount of force.
Lubricating the parts before assembly is not necessary with Stauff products, as a suitable lubricant is already contained in the surface. This saves a work step and increases efficiency. There is no potential for errors during torque assembly, as the force required remains the same. There are also no apparent leaks as there is no need to lubricate before assembly.
Harder
The Stauff surface is up to 10 times harder than other galvanised surfaces. This provides significantly greater protection against external mechanical influences. It goes without saying that contact corrosion is even better.
The STAUFF range of screw fittings is available from stock at Paul Forrer.

Tube fittings
We offer a comprehensive range of metric tube fittings made of steel and stainless steel for common tube outside diameters from 4 to 42 mm, which comply with the ISO 8434-1 and DIN 2353 standards.
The tube fittings are supplied with the high-quality STAUFF zinc-nickel finish as standard. All components have independent certificates, approvals and authorisations for quality and reliability.
Quick couplings
Since the acquisition of Voswinkel, the largest German manufacturer of quick couplings, in 2015, STAUFF has offered a complete product range of hydraulic quick couplings, consisting of coupling plugs and coupling sleeves. These are made of steel and in some cases with the STAUFF zinc-nickel surface coating or stainless steel to ensure reliable corrosion protection. With our many years of experience, extensive range and high availability, we guarantee fast deliveries.
