EGO is launching a modular charging system for the new season that can also be used on the move to ensure that the batteries are sufficiently charged for the start of work. The POWER GRID X Commercial Charging (PGX) system from EGO is a scalable solution that can be used by small teams through to large fleets.
It consists of the 1600 W PGX1600E-H charger, the PGX3000D three-port charging distributor and the PGX1400PB mobile power bank.
The charging distributor and power bank can be connected in series, allowing up to 250 Ah per charger to be charged overnight and up to 90 batteries in total. If you want to charge on the go or while on the move during work, use the new EGO Powerbank with the 40 Ah high-capacity battery (HC2240T). Up to 16 hand-held batteries can be fully recharged in a very short time - the perfect on-site solution for all-day use.
The updated 1600 W power hub provides power and connectivity for the system. Different devices can be connected to create a sequential charging chain, either simultaneously within the unit or sequentially from unit to unit.
The modular sequential charging solution allows many EGO batteries to be charged from a single power supply, reducing the load on the fixed power infrastructure and providing flexibility in the charging location. It opens up the possibility for easy mobile charging in the vehicle and eliminates the need for manual battery changes.
With automatic sequential charging, 200 Ah can be charged in 10 hours. DC to DC chargers utilize battery energy more efficiently, charge faster than AC and allow commercial users to quickly charge their 56V ARC lithium batteries on the go and carry fewer batteries.
The EGO POWER GRID X is IoT Bluetooth and WiFi enabled, and is controlled via the EGO Connect app.

The EGO-Connect mobile app offers IoT functions. It allows you to monitor and display the charging status and statistics. It also offers the option of prioritizing charging and firmware upgrades.
The app also reminds users to complete the charging process and optimizes battery usage. The app enables self-diagnosis and troubleshooting to identify and resolve problems with the devices. It also provides an overview of usage history and usage statistics to gain insights into device usage. Furthermore, the app allows the device software to be updated for improved performance and security. Devices can also be registered and managed. In addition, EGO-Connect offers customizable features for different user needs.
